Description
RWT stands for Red Wine Trial, and it is Penfolds' Barossa Shiraz, aged in French oak rather than the American oak that is normal for the house. That gives it a more refined, polished profile, with blackberry, dark chocolate, violets and spice. Rich and powerful but elegant, and with some years on it, the 2017 is entering a good drinking window.
