Baronesa P. 2020 is a premium red blend from Chile’s Maipo Valley, crafted by Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s Escudo Rojo label. Dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (81%) with Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Carmenere, it showcases deep ruby color and rich aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, cedarwood, and spices. Aged for 14 months in French oak (65% new), the palate is lush and complex with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and layered notes of dark fruit, vanilla, and toffee. With a 97-point rating from James Suckling, this elegant and powerful wine pairs beautifully with grilled ribeye and has excellent aging potential through 2028.
