Description
Stauning is a distillery in western Denmark that has gained a following for its craft whisky, and Smoke is the peated expression. It is built from malted barley dried over peat smoke, and shows campfire smoke, malt sweetness and a little coastal brine. A good choice if you like peated Scotch and want to see how it translates to Denmark.
