Description
The best-known pastis in France, created in Marseille in 1932. It is anise-flavored, with licorice root and Provençal herbs, and is served as an aperitif in the south, diluted with cold water until it clouds. Use five parts water to one part pastis, over ice, with a bowl of olives.
