Description
Ohishi is a distillery in Kumamoto, in southern Japan, and this bottling is aged in ex-brandy casks. The brandy cask adds a soft, grape-like sweetness and a rounder body, with notes of dried fruit, vanilla and gentle spice. A small-producer whisky from a part of Japan that is better known for sake and shochu.
