A Spätlese from Forster Pechstein, one of the Pfalz’s most respected vineyards, where basalt soils give the wines a smoky, mineral edge. Spätlese means late-harvest, so the Riesling here is ripe and a little sweet. The 2021 is peachy and precise, with good acidity.
