Description
Malort is the Chicago spirit that has become a local rite of passage. It is a wormwood liqueur, extremely bitter, with grapefruit pith and a dry, medicinal finish. Many people take a shot as a dare, but bartenders have found uses for it in bitter cocktails and Old Fashioned variants. Serve it ice cold.
