Il Poggione Vin Santo Riserva 2009 is a refined Tuscan dessert wine made from 70% Trebbiano and 30% Malvasia grapes. After drying the grapes for at least 90 days, the wine is aged for 8 to 9 years in oak barrels, developing complex flavors. It has an amber color with aromas of dried apricots, bitter almonds, and honey. The palate is balanced with sweetness and vibrant acidity, offering flavors of dried fruits and nuts, leading to an elegant finish. With an alcohol content of 16.5%, it pairs well with cantucci, dried fruits, chocolates, or blue cheeses.
