Description
A Barolo from the Mosconi cru in Monforte d'Alba, made by Chiara Boschis at the E. Pira estate, one of the best-known women in Piedmont winemaking. Barolo from this area tends to be structured and perfumed, with dark cherry, tar, roses and a firm tannic spine that rewards time in the cellar. Decant it if you open it young.
