Description
An Auslese from the Erdener Treppchen vineyard, a steep slate site on the Mosel, in the 2008 vintage. Auslese is made from very ripe grapes and is typically sweet and rich. With some age, expect honey, apricot and a lively acidity that keeps it fresh. A lovely after-dinner wine or one for blue cheese.
