Description
A wine-based amaro from Piedmont, made by infusing Moscato and Cortese wines with cardoon, a thistle related to the artichoke, and blessed thistle. It is mellow and gently bitter rather than sharp, with a walnut and spice sweetness that is good on its own. It also works as a quiet swap for vermouth in a Manhattan.
