A Syrah from Yves Cuilleron, one of the northern Rhône's best-known growers, labelled Collines Rhodaniennes for the hills along the river. It is peppery and violet-scented with blackberry and olive notes, and a medium-bodied, juicy finish. It offers northern Rhône character without the price of its famous appellations.
