Salice Salentino is a red from the heel of Italy in Puglia, built on Negroamaro, the region's dark, sun-loving signature grape. Masseria Li Veli's Passamante is plush and savoury, with black cherry, plum, dried herbs and soft tannins. A good red for grilled sausage, lamb or an aubergine bake.
