A blackcurrant liqueur from Massenez, the Alsace house that makes fruit liqueurs and eaux-de-vie. Cassis is deep purple, rich and jammy, with a tart finish, and it is the other half of a Kir. Add a spoonful to a glass of dry white wine or sparkling wine.
