Mas Amiel Maury 20yr Vin Doux Naturel

Maury is a vin doux naturel from Roussillon in southern France, made from Grenache with grape spirit added during fermentation to keep the sweetness. Mas Amiel's 20-year bottling has been aged for a very long time in oxidative conditions, which turns it amber-brown and gives dried fig, walnut, coffee, toffee and orange peel. Pour small glasses with blue cheese, dark chocolate or a nutty dessert.
