Gnarly Vines is Louis M. Martini's old-vine Zinfandel bottling, taking its name from the twisted, low-yielding vines it comes from. It is ripe and full, with blackberry, plum and a little pepper and spice, and some age has softened it. A good match for pizza, burgers or grilled meats.
