Jameson Caskmates is a distinctive Irish whiskey series that marries the smooth character of Jameson's triple-distilled blend with the rich flavors imparted by craft beer-seasoned barrels. The original Stout Edition undergoes a unique aging process in barrels previously used for Irish craft stout, resulting in a harmonious fusion of whiskey and beer influences. This expression offers aromas of freshly cut hay, green apples, pears, and hints of lime zest. The palate reveals a balance of sweet, creamy milk chocolate, butterscotch, and subtle notes of hops and cocoa beans, culminating in a long, sweet finish with lingering hints of milk chocolate and butterscotch.
