Bodega Colomé - Malbec Altura Maxima 2015 (750ml)

Wine Advocate awarded the 2015 Altura Máxima Malbec an impressive 95 points, praising its distinctive profile of black olives, decayed violets, and malted cereals. Sourced from one of the world’s highest vineyards at 3,100 meters, this Malbec showcases remarkable ripeness balanced by a medium-bodied palate and fine-grained tannins. Harvested at the end of April, the grapes achieve full ripeness thanks to strong sunlight exposure, despite the extreme altitude. Aged for 24 months in fourth-use French barriques, this limited-production wine (only 6,900 bottles) is a true expression of high-altitude terroir.
